ABOUT
Yeah...that little dude on the left, that’s me!
Sitting with my cousin to play on my grandma’s electric organ after a much needed bath, my fate was only further set in stone.
I was forced to consume classical music as an infant. My first guitar was a “nice to meet you” gift from one of my newly born younger sisters. Piano lessons were a loathed requirement. Little electronic devices you could connect together was how I had fun. And an old cassette player with a recording function filled me with excitement. All of these things contributed to what eventually became a forever love and passion of mine. Music. It stirs my soul, and lights a fire of purpose inside of me. It’s a part of who I am and how I connect with God, others, and the world around me.
I’ve been doing music for years now, predominantly for fun, but also in semi-professional capacities and as a part of my faith. I’ve additionally been a mostly happily employed nurse for about a decade. Music has always been my ‘side gig”…
But my goals shifted recently.
I started to work as a nurse less and do music more.
I dreamt of performing “Sweet Victory” at the biggest sports venue possible, and started chasing after it.
I planned to release more music and finish a few albums, I already have, and there’s more to come!
I’m taking on adventures and risks, and documenting them on film.
And I’m doing my best to reflect the son like a warm fire to those who need it most on a cold night by: sharing my music, sharing about my struggles, addiction, and journey, and by pursuing other avenues to be for others - especially in arenas where I have personal insights and could utilize my talents.
My journey can be watched on my "ROLLNNOLAN" youtube channel. But, to catch you up, I most recently released the song "God I Messed Up" which was streamed >15k times, a milestone for me. It was written in the midst of the pain I experienced while navigating and overcoming my own personal struggles. The story behind the song can be watched on my artist channel - under the branding 'nolanfoxmusic'. Otherwise, I am currently helping with music in faith communities across my local region, working on an album planned to release at the end of summer, and I am hoping to share my story and music wherever the message might be received.
I hope to connect with and encourage you along the way.
